Make MAD-magic
MAD-learn made for VERY easy facilitation as a teacher. It gave students a
"safe" space in which to experiment with their apps, and it gave them guidance as well.
Having access to the teaching slide decks was also a game-changer; we were able to modify
those and then provide normed language and instructions across 10 classrooms during our
design work. They enjoyed creating an app (it's tech!) and the creative aspects of the work.
I think it also helped them that we as teacher-facilitators were all on the same page,
thanks to the training and slide decks. "
