Don't Take Our Word For It...
Hear from students, teachers, and administrators about their journey of bringing future ready experiences to their classrooms and why it is so important to act today.
ihub's partnership with MAD-learn is invaluable! I've been fortunate enough to have witnessed MAD-learn's commitment to inspiring student creativity firsthand since joining ihub but since moving to remote programming as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the superpowers of MAD-learn have been especially evident. At ihub, we've been able to leverage MAD-learn to create a new opportunity for our DSBN ihub community through a virtual MAD-learn Club, growing to over 300 students to date! We have been able to leverage MAD-learn's existing framework for online STEM learning. We are grateful for the engaged team at MAD-learn who is there to support us along the way and is always so responsive to the needs of our students."

As an educator it is hard to find programs that truly grab a student's attention. MAD-learn has set the bar for what I am looking for in a program and is truly the gold standard when teaching students about mobile apps. MAD-learn provides a highly customizable program with an easy to use interface that any student can work with. My students rarely ever missed class when I use this program because they do not want to miss a chance to learn something they are excited about. The amazing thing is watching a student with a below 2.0 GPA come to school all day just to work on MAD-learn. I was extremely impressed with MAD-learn last year and this year they have done even more to make the platform better. "

Holy Trinity loves MAD-learn. It is a great cross-curricular activity that gives students the opportunity to take the app ideas in their minds and build them from scratch. They have to storyboard their app, create a prototype, work through bugs, and work with other students in an effort to create the perfect app. They are often surprised by how much work goes into the apps they use every day, how many skills they have to use from traditional classes (proofreading, storytelling, mathematics, etc), and what it takes to make an app that people want to use. I am always impressed with the ideas they come up with and the work they put into their apps! "

The students have really enjoyed using MAD-learn. It has been a wonderful experience watching them have fun, gain confidence and share their ideas while learning. In my classes, the students have enjoyed collaborating on apps as well as competing individually in "Shark-Tank" competitions. Another rewarding experience has been watching students form new relationships with their peers as they uncover common interests and talents that they share. Overall, MAD-learn has provided a unique opportunity for students to learn how to build fully functional apps and use technology as a means to share their ideas and talents with others. "
